Michael Buck

Managing Director

Mick started out 20 years ago with a retail outlet that trebled its turnover in 3 years. From the shop he started supplying the catering trade and eventually sold the business and moved into a wholesale warehouse. As business grew rapidly he moved into a bigger warehouse 7 years later, but feared it was too big at the time.

Micks main roles are being responsible for pushing the business forward and overseeing the smooth running of all departments.

He would have liked to retire at 60 but is enjoying it too much and now says the warehouse isn’t big enough.....


Richard Buck

Operations Director

Richard left school at 17 and started working for his dad in the shop. Apart from a 16 week back packing trip across Asia and a 6 month break helping to set up an insurance business with a friend, Richard has remained with Threshfield.

His role as Operations Director means he is hands on at overseeing and managing what goes on, both on days and nights and bringing new ideas into the business.....


Graham Weldon


Having spent 15 years as a Chef, working in a variety of Hotels and Restaurants in the North West and laterly Harrogate, Graham moved into the fresh produce industry in 1990. Since then, he has worked with several fresh produce companies within Yorkshire, gaining extensive knowledge of the ever changing catering trade. Now with Threshfield, Graham's aim is to use that knowledge to help take the business forward, using his experiennce and understanding of the needs of the modern and demanding catering environment.


Paul Brame


Paul says “The best days of my life were in the army until i had to leave due to medical reasons”

From there Paul worked for 20 years in the wholesale side of Swithenbanks, gaining a solid background and understanding of how the fruit and vegetable industry worked.

He then joined Threshfield some 10 years ago and now thrives in his sales role, speaking to customers new and old and getting out there to see them.....
